For Intended Parents
A Miami Surrogacy Agency That Treats Your Journey Like It Matters
You're not looking for a call center. You're not looking for a M-F 9-5 coordinator who's never met you to manage the most important thing happening in your life. You're looking for someone with years of experience and knowledge who knows your file, knows your story, and picks up the phone when you call.
That's what we built Advocates for Surrogacy to be.
Attorney-Founded. Founder-Led. Miami-Based.
Advocates for Surrogacy was founded by Candace O'Brien, an attorney with nearly two decades of experience in surrogacy and third-party reproduction. Candace doesn't hand your journey off to a coordinator once you sign. She handles it personally — every match, every call, every milestone — from the moment you submit your questionnaire to the day your baby is born. Candace's role as the agency founder and director is not to represent surrogates or intended parents. You should be represented independently separate from your agency — but having the legal expertise of an agency director makes all the difference.
If you've spoken to other agencies and felt like you were talking to a sales process, this will feel different.
What Sets Us Apart
No coordinators. No handoffs.
At most agencies, you meet a director, then get handed off. At Advocates for Surrogacy, the person you meet is the person who runs your journey. That's not a selling point — it's just how we operate.
Attorney background, applied to every journey.
Candace's legal training isn't a credential on a wall. It shapes how the process unfolds from the initial intake with a surrogate candidate to how contracts are negotiated, how surrogates are protected, and how your interests are defended from day one.
Direct access, always.
Text, call, or email — not just during business hours. Surrogacy doesn't follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do we.
Third-party escrow.
Once you enter into a contract with your surrogate, your surrogate's funds are held by an independent escrow company — never by the agency. Full transparency, full protection.
LGBTQ+ families welcome.
We've been serving LGBTQ+ intended parents since the beginning. You will never feel like an afterthought here.
The Miami Advantage
Miami is one of the most international cities in the world — and one of the most surrogacy-friendly markets in Florida. Florida's surrogacy laws are among the strongest in the country, offering statutory legal protections for all parties, and a straightforward path to establishing parentage.
Working with a Miami-based agency means working with someone who knows Florida law, Florida fertility clinics, and the South Florida reproductive community.
