Considering becoming a surrogate in Miami? You've come to the right place. Advocates for Surrogacy is a Miami-based boutique agency with nearly two decades of experience matching extraordinary women with families who need them. We work with surrogates throughout the United States — and we'd love to hear from you.

Why Miami Surrogates Choose AFS

If you've looked into surrogacy before, you've probably run into big agencies where you talk to one person during sign-up and someone completely different once you're in the program. That's not how we work.

Advocates for Surrogacy is a Miami-based boutique agency founded by Candace O'Brien, who has nearly two decades of experience in surrogacy. Candace personally works with every surrogate from the first conversation to the day you deliver — and beyond. You'll have her direct contact — text, call, email, whatever works for you. No phone trees, no ticketing systems, no waiting for someone to call you back who doesn't know your story. And no 9-to-5 Monday through Friday when you have a question, a concern, or something that just can't wait.

The attorney background just means you get someone who genuinely understands the legal and medical landscape — and uses that knowledge to protect you every step of the way. It doesn't mean formal or intimidating. It means you're covered.

What to Expect

From the moment you complete your initial questionnaire, you are working directly with Candace. Not a coordinator, not an intake team — Candace. That relationship begins immediately and continues through every step of the journey.

Once you complete your intake, Candace will request your medical records from your previous pregnancy and delivery. Those records are then presented to the fertility clinic for review. If the clinic provides clearance based on that records review, we move into the matching process. You can read more about how matching works at Advocates for Surrogacy here.

Building a real relationship with your agency matters — and by the time you reach matching, Candace already knows you. That's not an accident. That's how this process is designed to work.

Compensation

Miami surrogates working with Advocates for Surrogacy typically earn $60,000–$80,000 or more. Your compensation includes base pay, a monthly allowance, an embryo transfer fee, maternity clothing allowance, and additional fees for multiples or invasive procedures. All funds are held in an independent escrow account — not by the agency — and paid to you monthly following confirmation of pregnancy. You are never out of pocket for pregnancy-related medical expenses.
